hi Its great that sanddep has got the indian Idol trophy bcoz its noy that his voice is good but he is also a very good human being i remember when first time he came for the auditions nd was standing in the que he was asked by aman that what is his wish nd he answred that no one should go dishearted 4m here.He is the best choice for indian idol wish him all luck & many more success in life.

Ya its ok if Sandeep Acharya has won the II-2 title and I guess accepting the people''s verdict, he should be given the appropriate exposure and publicity. I don think his debut album has gained sufficient mileage and that its not been sufficiently marketed and advertised on the SONY TV as it was for the II-1.. Sandeep Acharya has to definitely work hard but he should not be treated like a underdog blessed with a grace of public voting..

In my opinion india janta have not get the sense of humor.they don''t have the guts of recognizing a good singer.karunya was the best,is the best & will be the best.Indian idol was running successfully bcoz of one and only karunya.kehtay hain na"Bandar kya janay adrak ka swat" ise tarah "India ki janta kya janay sur ki pahchan"SHAME ON U INDIA WALON".Ap nay sandeep ko indian idol bana kar yeh sabit kar diya hai k u r duffer. |

people say u look nice and u dont have talent. however i have never seen u perform, nor have i heard ur name till this moment, so if u feel free, u cud write to me, as there is no chance of me knowing much about u until november when i return to india...till the i gotta study...

I think u can make any ordinary song sound extraordinary.When u reach the heights of ur carer,just remamber that all ur fans have voted for ur voice and not looks or anything.Ultimately a singer is remembered thru his voice .Looks deceive yaar.
Cheer up.Dont loose faith in God.

well..i''d like to say...tht the competition is over now..and we have a winner..sandeep..no doubt...karunya is technically a better singer,but i think its more tht we'' wanted to have someone who wud entertain us..whom we''d like.when sandeep performed,i know tht i smiled all the way thru his performance....so pleased to watch him,when karunya performed,we mite hav been engrossed noticing his techinal talent,but as an overall performer,sandeep was much better....very correctly said by sonu tht sandeep and anuj wre people who wudnt change aftr winning,unlike karunya,in which we wud notice the pride feeling,.for me a star is a star,only n only if he respects his fans..cos wtever he is cos of us..and sandeep is goina retain it,PROUD TO HAVE SOMEONE LIKE SANDEEP AS OUR INDIAN IDOL 2....and gr8 going to ravi...who''s doing a movie... |

WOW...what a big surprise and dissapointment for the viewers...what happened regarding the final results is a disgrace to ''SANGEET".....Indian Idol programme has absolutely nothing to do with sangeet...SONY is just making money through it and bringing disgrace to sangeet....
I wonder why great singers like sonu nigam and composer Annu Malik are being part of it....if they r really dedicated to music they should resign being part of this stupid programme.....I am definitely not watching this programme again and i am sure there r a lot of other people who will do the same..
regarding SANDEEP...what a pathetic singer he is....he actually cannot sing at all...the entire indian nation should be ashamed for their idiotic decision ...selecting the most idiotic singer!!!!!!!

I fully agree with the posting of Mr.Ravi today. This "public voting" is non sense and after some time nobody is really is interested in SMSing the choice. Stop this nonsense (easy way of making money for the channel !) and let the experienced Judges choose the right candidate so that colour of skin, looks, regionality ( Has any South Indian won any of these competitions whether it is Zee or Sony contests? Least of all a deserving girl has won. Even the Indian Idol cation shows the silhoutte of a man !!)are not the deciding factors- good talent should be chosen. Look at the people who were chosen in Zee''s SaReGaMaPa by talented Judges -Kunal Ganjawalla, Shreya Ghosal (thank god she participated before this SMS times), ....
In Saregama Himani or Hemachandra should have won... and less said the better about the winners of Fame Gurukul.
One request-please stop this eye wash and conduct truly good and healthy competitions.
